Mr K L Batra is Advisor, Chugoku Paints[India] Pvt. Ltd.

[Chugoku happens to be the number one marine paint company in Japan and number two globally].He was Managing Director of the above company from its date of formation until 31st March 2014. Mr Batra worked in various capacities in Chugoku in India[ He was CEO of the joint venture with Jenson & Nicholson Ltd and country head for the liaison office in India].

He worked with Asian Paints Ltd and was responsible for setting up their industrial business and ran the same for about 10 years. He worked for Bajaj group and Larsen & Toubro Ltd after doing his MBA from IIM, Calcutta in 1969. He was placed on the roll of honour of IIM , Calcutta. He is a graduate engineer from BHU IT
Mr Batra has been visiting faculty of many premier management institutes in the country. He is presently a visiting faculty at Sailesh J Mehta School Of Management, IIT , Bombay. He has conducted in company training programs for some large Indian and multinational companies.

Mr Batra has delivered more than 100 lecture in national and international conferences.
He is Honorary Secretary of SCA chapter of International Association Of Drilling Contractors and an active member of corrosion society NACE International, where he held various positions including Chairman of India Section.

 

 

Abhijit Phadnis is a Mumbai university rank-holder in the B.Com. (1982) examination in M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce, Vile Parle) and a national rank- holder in final examinations of ICWA (1983), CA (1984), CS (1987) and CFA (1989) examinations with 2nd, 11th, 1st and 3rd ranks respectively. After work spanning 6 years, in 2009, he was awarded a PhD by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. His thesis titled ‘Factors influencing investments into Indian states’ has been published as a monograph by a German academic publisher and is available for sale globally on www.amazon.com.

Abhijit began his corporate career with Johnson & Johnson, in 1983, which was followed by stints with Magnificent Leasing & Investments Ltd. (an NBFC) and ANZ Grindlays (now a part of Standard Chartered). During 1997 to 2001,
he worked for UBS & Credit Suisse, two Swiss Banks in senior positions with a position on the board of their local subsidiaries. There he headed all business support functions such as finance, operations, human resources, administration, building services, legal, compliance, IT. In 2002, he was co-opted to the Board of
TJSB Sahakari Bank Ltd., a leading co-operative bank. During this stint of about two and half years, he took many people-oriented initiatives and was also the Chairman of the Audit committee. Abhijit is currently a Director of Giltedge Financial Counsel Pvt. Ltd., a company he has set up for consulting, financial education & e-learning solutions.

Abhijit has participated in several consulting engagements for organizations such as ANZ Grindlays Bank, Clariant India, Deepak Nitrite, Essar group, NSDL Database Management Ltd., Pall India, Peregrine Securities, Schrader Scovill Duncan and Sekhsaria Chemicals. In 2010, he helped TJSB Sahakari Bank Ltd. in setting up their foreign exchange business. In early 2011, he played a key role in a global roll-out of e-learning in the finance domain for the Aditya Birla Group, titled ‘Simpli Fin’.

 

 

An M.Tech.( 1974) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Kamlesh Pande was Head of Technology Management with Mahindra & Mahindra, Vice President (R&D and Innovation) with Thermax Ltd.,
Pune, and Chief (R&D) with Forbes Marshall ,Pune. Prior to that, he was with Tata Consulting Engineers, Corporate R&D of BHEL and Tata Energy Research Institute .
He is currently the Chief Consultant with Forbes Marshall, Pune . Till July 2012, for five years , he was the Visiting & Adjunct Professor at School of Management, IIT Bombay, where he taught Innovation Mgmt, Knowledge Mgmt. and R&D Mgmt. , and delivered lectures in Management Development Programs ( MDPs) for industry managers. Kamlesh has also done his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

 

Mandar Marathe, Cofounder at BriefKase is a visiting professor at the marketing department at Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management. He currently teaches an elective course on Digital Marketing to second year students. In the recent past, he has taught at the Executive Management Program to senior managers. Mandar brings 9+ years of strong online marketing, web technology management, and digital agency experience including developing, designing, managing and delivering web solutions; managing Search Engine Optimization and analytics campaigns; devising and executing digital strategy.
